What We Are Not

  • Our role is not to provide client support for problem gamblers.
  • We do not assist in preparing Council cases that will go before the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation.
  • We are not expert witnesses for local applications for new gaming venues or increased numbers of EGM’s.
  • We are not an anti–gambling lobby group.
  • We do not have any powers of prosecution under any government act relating to gambling or any other legislation for that case.
  • Our role is to assist community groups and local Councils to formulate their own informed opinions on gambling in their area, and to assist them in taking appropriate action equal to their stance on gambling.
